Before you begin
Proper preparation is key to a successful installation of Kährs Luxury Tiles.
Temperature control: Ensure both the room and flooring materials are kept between +18°C and +25°C for at least 24 hours before installation.
Subfloor requirements: Kährs Luxury Tiles can be installed over most clean, dry, solid, and level subfloors. Remove any wall-to-wall carpeting or similar coverings.
Moisture management: If installing over concrete, the relative humidity (RH) must not exceed 85%.
Underfloor heating: If using a glue-down method over underfloor heating, turn off the heating system during installation and drying time. UFH must be gradually turned up over time after installation.
